Phil's Friends, an organization founded by Phil Zielke, a two time cancer survivor, sends care packages to cancer patients and follows up with a year of greeting cards to encourage them and let them know they are cared for, not alone. We get together once a month to tie fleece blankets, decorate boxes and color greeting cards. The next meeting will be on January 27, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to come and help us.

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry is made up of caring women who knit, or crochet lap robes, scarves, hats and mittens. The shawls go to people who may be hurting in different ways, or to those who are celebrating special occasions. The scarves and hats and mittens are sent to the local food pantry to be given to the children who need them. They meet once a month to knit together. The next meeting will be January 23, 9:30 AM.
