First CRC Church Family,

On June 7 we will be holding regular physical worship services for both our morning and evening services (9:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.) in the church building, as well as audio services into parking lot. .

*The Consistory of First CRC would like all members to consider the following recommendations in the reopening of our church:

Please practice all CDC and health guidelines, such as frequent hand-washing, avoiding touching your face, and staying home if you are feeling sick.

Members are encouraged to please consider wearing masks.

Please consider remaining home if you are 65+ years old, or considered “at risk” per CDC guidelines.

*The Consistory of First CRC would like all members to be aware of the specific steps we are taking in the reopening of our church:

Please enter the church through the Fellowship Hall double door entry only.

Certain sections of the church will be blocked off. Please adhere to all signage.

There will be no after service fellowship or coffee in the fellowship hall. (*However, if you would like to socialize, please do so in the parking lot making use of social distancing guidelines and recommendations).

Nursery and Children’s Church will not be provided until further notice.

All after church youth/educational classes are considered completed for the season.

Please maintain social distancing guidelines and precautions.

As we continue to navigate these difficult times, let us be encouraged to choose faith over fear, and remember that in the midst of whatever circumstances we are facing that God is in control. If you have any questions concerning these steps, please contact Pastor Jim, Pastor Blake, or the church office.

In Christ,

First CRC Consistory, Pastors, and Staff

Phil's Friends is an organization that is committed to supporting cancer patients in their journey though treatment by providing a one-time box of items to help keep them comfortable and then frequently sent cards to let them know that they are being prayed for and that they are not alone in their trial. Once a year we have a pack party to assemble the boxes and pray over them for distribution.

We conduct monthly workshops to decorate boxes, color cards and tie blankets. We have taken some time off due to the Coronavirus, but plan on beginning to meet again on July 13 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. We will be practicing social distancing, and following healthy guidelines.

Come to the church on that day and give some of your time to help give comfort to cancer patients.
